SPOOLOGIC Turbo Pedestal Yellow O-Rings

The SPOOLOGIC SL-310-001 Turbo Pedestal Yellow O-Ring Set replaces the upper and lower turbo pedestal oil seals on 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke applications. This four-piece set includes two large and two small yellow Viton O-rings to seal the oil passages at the turbocharger-to-pedestal and pedestal-to-engine connections. Use fresh seals when replacing the turbocharger, removing the pedestal, or repairing a confirmed pedestal O-ring oil leak.

Turbo Pedestal Oil Sealing

The turbo pedestal supports the turbocharger and carries engine oil to and from its center housing. One large and one small O-ring seal the connection between the engine and pedestal, while a second pair seals the connection between the pedestal and turbocharger. Replacing all four addresses both mounting surfaces when the turbocharger and pedestal are removed.

Heat cycles and age can leave the original O-rings hardened, flattened, or damaged. Oil escaping from these connections can collect in the engine valley and travel down the rear of the engine. Inspect the leak source before replacing parts, since oil in this area can also come from other engine components.

Coverage excludes damage caused by improper installation, dirty or damaged sealing surfaces, reuse, and use outside the listed application. Claims require dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the component for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will replace the covered component.
