The SPOOLOGIC Stage 1 HX35 Turbocharger SL-100-077 is a performance upgrade for 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 trucks with the 5.9L Cummins. Its larger billet compressor wheel adds airflow capacity for modified Cummins builds, supporting approximately 475-500 rear-wheel horsepower with matched fueling, application-appropriate calibration, and supporting modifications.

⚠️ Mechanical fueling adjustments for 12-valve trucks, or electronic tuning and fueling adjustments for 24-valve trucks, are highly recommended. See recommendations below.

⚠️ HX35 Application — Verify Transmission and Turbo: This turbocharger uses the HX35 configuration. Confirm the original turbocharger and its connections, particularly on automatic-transmission trucks. For an OEM-style HY35W stock replacement in the listed 2000-2002 automatic application, see SL-100-075. If selecting an HX35 upgrade for a truck originally equipped with an HY35W, verify the installation requirements for that conversion.

Tuning and Supporting Modifications

⚠️ Tuning and Fueling Highly Recommended: For 1994-1998 12-valve trucks, matched mechanical fueling adjustments to the P7100 system are highly recommended. For 1998.5-2002 24-valve trucks, matched electronic tuning and fueling for the VP44 system are highly recommended. Have a qualified Cummins diesel shop select the setup for the intended use and power target.

Supporting Modifications: Upgrade components as needed to support your intended power level.

• Larger injectors and fuel-system upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Intake and intercooler upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Sufficient exhaust flow and boost/exhaust-gas-temperature monitoring.

SPOOLOGIC does not provide custom tuning services. Customers are responsible for arranging application-appropriate tuning with a qualified tuning provider.

Coatings and Finish Options

The turbine housing and center-section exterior are ceramic coated to help manage radiant heat and resist oxidation. Heat reduction varies with operating conditions. The finish options below apply only to the compressor housing.

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Coverage applies to the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the turbocharger for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the turbocharger at its discretion. Coverage excludes damage caused by foreign-object debris, oil starvation, contaminated or restricted oil supply or drainage, extended oil-change intervals, overboosting, overspeed, overfueling, excessive exhaust temperatures, improper installation or startup, improper tuning or repairs, or operation outside the listed application or intended operating range. Normal cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, and heat-cycling marks are not covered. Customers pay shipping to SPOOLOGIC and return shipping, whether the claim is approved or denied.
