SPOOLOGIC Stage 1 Performance Turbocharger

The SPOOLOGIC Stage 1 GTP38 Turbocharger SL-100-008 is a performance upgrade for Late 1999-2003 Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550 trucks with the 7.3L Powerstroke. Its billet compressor wheel and performance wastegate configuration suit tuned street and towing builds, supporting approximately 350-400 rear-wheel horsepower with matched tuning, fueling, and supporting modifications.

Tuning and Supporting Modifications

⚠️ Custom Tuning Highly Recommended: Custom tuning is highly recommended to match this Stage 1 turbocharger to the engine, intended use, and supporting components.

⚠️ Boost Fooler Required: Install the SPOOLOGIC Boost Fooler / OCR Regulator — SL-610-002 to address the factory boost-monitoring limit. A boost fooler does not replace the tuning guidance above.

Supporting Modifications: Upgrade components as needed to support your intended power level.

• Larger injectors and fuel-system upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Adequate high-pressure oil supply for the selected HEUI injectors.
• Intake and intercooler upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Sufficient exhaust flow and leak-free up-pipes.
• Boost and exhaust-gas-temperature monitoring during setup and loaded operation.

SPOOLOGIC does not provide custom tuning services. Customers are responsible for arranging application-appropriate tuning with a qualified tuning provider.

Power Support

Designed to support approximately 350–400 rear-wheel horsepower with proper tuning, fueling, and supporting modifications. This is total power-support capacity, not a promised horsepower increase. Actual output depends on engine condition, fuel delivery, calibration, and the complete vehicle combination.

Non-EBPV Configuration

The supplied SPOOLOGIC Non-EBPV pedestal and outlet plate replace the factory exhaust back-pressure valve components, removing the valve from the exhaust path. An EBPV terminator is included for the factory electrical connection.

Coatings and Finish Options

The turbine housing and center-section exterior are ceramic coated to help manage radiant heat and resist oxidation. Heat reduction varies with operating conditions. The finish options below apply only to the compressor housing.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Coverage applies to the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the turbocharger for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the turbocharger at its discretion. Coverage excludes damage caused by foreign-object debris, oil starvation, contaminated or restricted oil supply or drainage, extended oil-change intervals, overboosting, overspeed, overfueling, excessive exhaust temperatures, improper installation or startup, improper tuning or repairs, or operation outside the listed application or intended operating range. Normal cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, and heat-cycling marks are not covered. Customers pay shipping to SPOOLOGIC and return shipping, whether the claim is approved or denied.
