The SPOOLOGIC Billet GTP38 Turbocharger Cartridge SL-200-005 is a brand-new, preassembled CHRA for Early 1999 Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550 7.3L Powerstroke, with an engine build date of December 7, 1998 or earlier. Its billet compressor wheel provides a mild performance upgrade for daily driving and towing.

Cartridge Compatibility and Installation

This product includes the assembled turbocharger center section and the installation items listed under What’s Included. Reuse the original GTP38 compressor and turbine housings; the outer housings and turbo pedestal are not included. Inspect the housings for cracks, wheel-contact damage, and other defects before reuse. Confirm the original turbo is the early-1999 GTP38 configuration. A 1999 model year alone does not distinguish it from the later design.

Billet-wheel upgrade cartridge for the factory Garrett GTP38 turbocharger. Also fits the SPOOLOGIC Stock Plus Turbocharger — SL-100-005.

Keep the rotating assembly intact to preserve its balance. Do not loosen the compressor-wheel nut. The supplied CHRA requires no internal rebuild before installation.
