The SPOOLOGIC Exhaust Back Pressure Valve Terminator SL-610-004 terminates the matching electrical connection when the original EBP valve-control solenoid is disconnected on 1999-2003 Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550 trucks equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke.

EBP Valve Control Circuit

The terminator connects to the valve-control circuit. It does not replace the exhaust-pressure sensor or repair its pressure tube.

Related Fault Codes

• P0475: Exhaust-pressure control valve circuit fault.
• P0472: Exhaust-pressure sensor circuit low input.
• P0473: Exhaust-pressure sensor circuit high input.

Code availability and definitions vary by model year and calibration. Fault codes identify a condition to diagnose and do not confirm component failure. Check wiring, connectors, and related systems before replacement.

Diagnosis Before Replacement

Identify whether the fault concerns the valve-control circuit, pressure sensor, or valve mechanism. P0472 and P0473 concern the pressure-sensor circuit and are not corrected by this terminator.

Installation Notes

Install in the matching valve-control connector with the ignition off. Secure and protect the connection, verify the physical valve configuration, and check for remaining faults.
