SPOOLOGIC Stage 2 Performance Turbocharger

The SPOOLOGIC Stage 2 GT3788VA Turbocharger SL-100-058 is a performance upgrade for 2004.5-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 3500 pickups with the 6.6L Duramax LLY. Its larger billet compressor wheel gives higher-output Duramax builds additional airflow capacity in the factory-style VGT mounting arrangement, supporting approximately 650-750 rear-wheel horsepower with matched tuning, fueling, and supporting modifications.

Tuning and Supporting Modifications

⚠️ Custom Tuning and Supporting Modifications: Custom tuning is required before operating the vehicle. Fuel delivery, intake airflow, charge-air capacity, and exhaust flow must be matched to the intended power level. Additional upgrades may be needed to achieve the listed power-support range; the turbocharger alone does not produce that output.

Supporting Modifications: Upgrade components as needed to support your intended power level.

• Larger injectors and fuel-system upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Intake and intercooler upgrades may be needed to reach the listed power range.
• Adequate exhaust flow and leak-free up-pipes.
• Boost and exhaust-gas-temperature monitoring during setup and loaded operation.

SPOOLOGIC does not provide custom tuning services. Customers are responsible for arranging application-appropriate tuning with a qualified tuning provider.

Approximately 650–750 rear-wheel horsepower with a properly matched build. This is total power-support capacity, not a promised horsepower increase. Actual output depends on engine condition, calibration, fuel delivery, and the complete vehicle combination.

High-Speed VSR Balancing

The rotating assembly is high-speed VSR balanced before shipment for smooth, consistent operation.

VGT Control System

The VGT control solenoid uses engine oil pressure to adjust the turbine vanes. A new unison ring, vane assembly, and separate turbocharger vane position sensor are preinstalled.

Use the supplied SL-600-036 sensor adapter on 2004.5-2005 LLY applications where required.

⚠️ Turbocharger Vane Position Relearn Required: After installation, complete the GM Turbocharger Learn procedure for your vehicle and verify successful completion.

Coatings and Finish Options

The turbine housing and center-section exterior are ceramic coated to help manage radiant heat and resist oxidation. Heat reduction varies with operating conditions. The finish options below apply only to the compressor housing.

• Raw: Natural aluminum compressor housing with no exterior coating

1-Year Limited Warranty

Every SPOOLOGIC turbocharger carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date. Coverage applies to the original purchaser with dated proof of purchase. Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the turbocharger for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will repair or replace the turbocharger at its discretion. Coverage excludes damage caused by foreign-object debris, oil starvation, contaminated or restricted oil supply or drainage, extended oil-change intervals, overboosting, overspeed, overfueling, excessive exhaust temperatures, improper installation or startup, improper tuning or repairs, or operation outside the listed application or intended operating range. Normal cosmetic wear, coating discoloration, and heat-cycling marks are not covered. Customers pay shipping to SPOOLOGIC and return shipping, whether the claim is approved or denied.
