The SPOOLOGIC Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor SL-600-065 measures intake pressure on 2007.5-2018 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins. It replaces the original-style sensor used for engine air management and boost monitoring.

MAP Sensor Operation

The sensor measures absolute pressure, which includes atmospheric pressure. Its reading differs from gauge boost; low or high circuit input describes an electrical signal fault, not simply low or high boost.

Diagnosis Before Replacement

Inspect the pressure passage or MAP hose, connector, and wiring. With the key on and engine off, compare absolute manifold pressure with barometric pressure using the vehicle-specific tolerance. Investigate charge-air or turbo faults if the pressure signal tests correctly.

Installation Notes

Keep debris out of the pressure opening and inspect the MAP hose or seal as applicable. Follow the vehicle-specific installation procedure and verify live pressure after replacement.

Contact SPOOLOGIC for return authorization before shipping the component for inspection. If inspection confirms a covered defect, SPOOLOGIC will replace the covered component.
